Volkswagen Kombi 1969 Camper VAN 4 SP Manual 1 8L Carb for sale

VW 1969 KOMBI CAMPER - low light bay.
First registered 1970. three owners. history available.
Original Sunliner conversion in good condition for age.
everything works although a couple of tears in poptop
canvas. Also has two awnings. poles etc. . TV antenna
and small TV.
Mechanically sound. engine upgraded to 1. 8 litres about
4 years ago. Brakes boosted to accommodate extra power.
Runs on unleaded 98.
Owned by present owner 18 years and used mainly for trips
to northern NSW and frequently to Tasmania.
The Kombi has spent its life on the southern part of the
Mornington Peninsula and has regrettably succumbed to
the scourge of Kombis - rust.
The rust is in the gutters and roof over the cabin and some
smaller pieces in the body. The rust is the reason for sale
as I am not proficient in this area. whereas a panel beater
with the time should be able to sort it out.
Inspection before bidding is recommended and invited. the
Kombi is on Club Permit and test drive is no problem.
