1957 MG MGA roadster for sale
Current customer rating:
This 1957 MGA in factory Orient red with tan leather interior is fully sorted and ready to enjoy.
An impressive restoration was completed approximately 15 years ago on a rust-free California car. All fenders. rockers and lower panels are original.
The car's unrestored condition was so nice no repair panels were required. The paint. interior. stainless steel exhaust system. painted wire wheels. tires and chrome still present as new.
The restoration was performed with authenticity and attention to detail in mind.
In addition to the high quality paint. chrome. and leather interior. it received a new tan vinyl top. new side curtains. new carpets. and a complete new wiring harness.
Compression test results of ~160 PSI across the block suggest the engine was also rebuilt at the time of restoration. Acceleration. shifting. and suspension. are exactly as you would expect from a properly restored MGA and the overall driving experience is a great representation of what a new MGA would have felt like in 1957. This MGA has been stored in the current owner's heated garage for the past 12 years. with very few annual miles since restoration. and shows beautifully as a result. Recent pre-sale service of the car includes new brakes. battery. complete fluid changes. tune-up and some minor sorting to be certain everything works as it should for the next owner.
In sum. this particular MGA offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a vintage driving experience with the added value of owning a well-preserved and accurately restored MGA.
An unusual example priced fairly at $32. 00.
Pre-purchase inspection and test drives available by appointment. Please call Clarke at . The car is located in southern New Hampshire and is being sold with a clear NH title. See our other offerings at Historic Motor Sports. net
