I have just finished my mgb conversion and have tested it for 800 miles.This mg as been stripped and rebuilt with complete respray all the interior as been replaced with antique red leather seats and door cards new carpets which include boot and mahogany trim fittings.All suspension as been replaced with adjustable shock absorbers rear parabolic springs and anti tramp bars KPI as been adjusted for lighter steering and poly bushes fitted.This mg as been converted to 15 in spoke wheels and all new tyres and chrome bumper conversion.The rover 3.5 engine as been stripped and all bearings timing chain and gears piston rings camshaft etc have been replaced.The LT 77 gearbox was stripped and any parts needed replaced also new clutch fitted and rear diff was also checked.The brakes have been upgraded to front vented discs and 4 pot callipers and brake fluid changed.New mohair hood and half tonneau new locks new radiator and hoses new stainless steel exhaust also fitted central locking and remote battery isolator new toque starter motor new alternator new edelbrock carb the list goes on.There is no rust on this mg and it drives and sounds like a V 8 should sound.I have had an MOT done this mgb and it passed with no advisory's and have had the log book engine size changed to 3500 cc.
