1974 Other Makes SV-1 for sale
Current customer rating:
This is a fun and unique muscle car! I purchased it not too long ago with the intention of restoring it but I just no longer have the time. I hate seeing it just sit there and I would like it to go to someone that can show it the love it deserves. You absolutely wont see another one like it on the road! These cars are very rare and this one in particular will turn heads with its flashy green paint.
Here are the specs on the car:
AMC 360 V 8 Motor w/ 4 Barrel Carburetor
Power Steering
11 in Power Disc Front Brakes/10 in Rear Drums
Horsepower 220 4400 RPM (A lot of kits available for AMC motors to add more power!)
21 Gallon Tank
Mileage: 41. 84
Automatic Transmission
Power Gull-wing doors that open at a push of a button.
Message me and I will provide the youtube links to the door and engine videos since e Bay won't allow me to link them.
The car fires right up and functions normally. I recently replaced the pneumatic air system with a modern wet/dry tank and air compressor system (pictured). It also comes with a key fob system that you can install to operate the doors by remote. The battery is relatively new and comes with a trickle charger. The tires have a lot of tread but are several years old so should probably be replaced if this were to become a daily driver. The carpet and seats are original and will need to be replaced. Kits are available on e Bay. I'm noticing some transmission fluid dripping out a bit. Probably will need a new transmission gasket seal. The surface of the bricklin is painted fiberglass and the panels are definitely showing their age and will need some attention in certain areas. No rust issues at all. Solid body - no accidents. One of the wheel centers is missing but can be purchased from Bricklin Parts of VA.
This is a definite project car and would be a perfect weekend project for someone. It won't require too much work to get it to daily driver condition. It has great power with potential for so much more. You can purchase parts easily from John's Bricklin Works or Bricklin Parts of Virginia.
I am including new rubber door seals. a new engine mat for the underside of the hood. key blanks/bricklin key leather chain. original magazine poster. custom framed bricklin promotional art. vintage bricklin t-shirt iron on designs. and the keyless entry system. Comes with one key. Title in hand.
I am not a mechanic. just a weekend hobbyist. That being said. I am describing this car to the best of my ability. Please ask me any questions you may have and take a look at the photos. Car sold in as is condition with no warranty.
