75 Bricklin SV 1 Nice original car 2 nd owner 35 K miles

The car is mostly all original with about 35 K original miles on it. It is a really nice driver. Start up and go anywhere.

It almost be considered a survivor in originality. stock Ford 351. I've owned this car for 17 years and am the 2 nd owner. See the video.

It had been painted with epoxy primer. The color is the exact original color from PPG (who supplied the color for the trim pieces originally). The body has a few minor stress cracks(that don't show up in photos). which makes it not a real show car . but still looks reasonably nice to take to shows and cruise nights and is a nice driver. The metal undercarriage appears to be in really good shape. It's been in a dry garage most of it's life.

The car draws much attention at cruise nights.

The Interior is original but has new seats. as the originals were tired and the buttons popped off.

The clock does not work but I think everything else does. AM FM radio. Even the air conditioner works. Carpet looks great. and interior is overall nice but has a crack in dash in a place that is not to visible even though it is on the top. you might want to replace to bring it to a higher level.

It steers and handles terrific! The car is Fun to drive. It has power steering and disc brakes in front.

This car is # 1664 of 2854 cars made. so it's just past the middle of cars made. as I understand these were the best of all production.

The original Engine is a 351 Ford It came with a 2 BBl Carb and I put a 4 V low rise intake (painted original Ford corporate blue)and carburetor on it which made it really come alive and still looks completely stock. (the 2 v intake comes with the car). The 3 speed FMX automatic transmission shifts perfectly and solidly.

All original Wheels come with the car. The Chip Foose Wheels and Pirelli Z rated tires (235 50 ZR 18). give the car a modern look and driving experience. These wheels and tires were not cheap.

This Bricklin has the desired upgraded air actuated doors and I added an accessory air pump. on a switch. in the event the doors leak down. while sitting. I don't think there were any other options available. I'm the 2 nd owner and the original owner told me that he looked at 17 other cars before he purchased this one and this one had the best fitted body panels on it.

I've had the car for 17 years and it has been a really dependable car. One time. years ago. I took it on a long drive and was running at a very high speed for about 1 hour on a 95 degree day and it started to get hot. other than that one it's run perfect every time I've used it!

This is a fun and unusual car and driving experience. and it's time for a new owner. as my obligations are changing.

I've previously owned a 68 Camaro. 73 Javelin. 1969 AMX. 1965 1968 Mustangs. 56 T bird and other performance cars and this is a better overall car than any one of those.

We took it SCCA racing twice. which is around the cones in a parking lot. (see pic). and it won the class. which had Corvettes and other similar cars in the class. The car handles amazing as you sit below the frame and the suspension was taking from the Trans AM champion Javelins of the day (It was considered very advanced at the time. and won the races to prove it). Bricklin WON THE 2010 FAVORITE IMPORT AWARD AT THE HEMMINGS MOTOR NEWS SPORTS & EXOTIC CAR SHOW IN SARATOGA SPRINGS. NY. and several articles (including Hemmings) have been written about the extraordinary vehicle. And I have some old literature that is included with the car.

Priced great for quick sale.
