1960 Fairthorpe Electron Minor Mk1 Classic road / competition car. for sale

1960 Fairthorpe Electron Minor Mk1. 1300cc Triumph engine and great fun to drive.  8 months MOT. tax free. main part of exhaust is Stainless steel. new brake shoes all round. Nicely made roll bar and custom fitted tonneau cover which is water tight. the roll bar can easily be removed by taking out 4 bolts.

Towing points and an ignition cut off switch have been fitted as the car has previously been raced at Silverstone and done the odd speed event (timing strut also comes with the car. ) The paintwork is very shiny although there is some crazing to the fibreglass underneath the paint. Fairthorpe Electron Minors are eligible for many Historic race series including HSCC Historic Road Sports Championship. FISCAR. HRDC Allstars etc. they were raced in period at Goodwood and took part in the Monte Carlo Rally in 1959 and also the Spa Sofia Liège Rally in 1963.

 

The buyer will also get one years membership to the Fairthorpe Sports Car Club.
I would recommend that any potential bidders view the car. it is in Northampton close to J15 of the M1.
