Rare 1959 Fairthorpe Electron Coventry Climax FWA in need of a body-off restoration. The two main chassis rails are in good order but it will need the outriggers and side rails replacing. The body shell is in reasonable condition, but it has a poorly repaired area at the rear of the nearside rear wheel arch.
The 1098 cc FWA Coventry Climax engine is dismantled so can be inspected. It comes with a twin S.U set up, an unused set of cylinder liners, and a new old stock Fairthorpe Climax exhaust manifold. There is no gearbox fitted.
The car has had just two owners since the 1980 s and this is a rare opportunity to buy a Climax-powered Electron.
