1969 Replica/Kit Makes Bugatti for sale

Only one in the world. hand built Bugatti replica hand built from scratch by a master fabricator. this Bugatti "replica" looks similar to a 1926 model 27 A open cockpit Bugatti racecar.
Built on a 1969 vw torsion bar suspension body pan. it features a 4130 Chrome Moly tube superstructure.
The rear "boat tail" is quickly removed for full engine access.
a 1600 cc engine completely rebuilt w/only 3500 miles.
Dual Del Orto or Webber Carbs. new cases. pistons. crankshaft. electronic ignition. Engle cam. heavy duty clutch. extractor exhaust and 4 speed gearbox.
This is a CA "Senate Bill 100" licensed vehicle and as such it is "smog exempt" and does not require smog devices. Smog certificate. or inspections.
It has been signed off by the CHP safety inspection station.
The body is hand formed 2024 aircraft aluminum. with brass trim. autometer antique style gauges. leather cockpit combing. 27 model "T" headlights and taillight. while keepng weight below 1200 lbs which allows it to be legally operated as an "open wheel" car.
Since it cannot be driven in the rain. it does not need windshield wipers which preserve the classic look of this one of-a-kind car.
It turns heads EVERYWHERE it is driven! This is a great family car and the auuuugaaa horn always brings a smile.
The vw does tend to leak as most do.
The fix for this would be a new dust seal which is an inexpensive fix.
The transmission is getting up in years and could use an over haul. or replacement if you are planning on driving the car long distances.
A racing transmission that will last forever is only 500 dollars for this car and is very inexpensive. I am willing to negotiate a touch if purchased.
