The Reo Flying Cloud (Model 20) is an
exquisite
automobile.
I acquired this automobile to totally restore it to new condition.
Now we have to complete our “fixer-upper” home and we need funds more than an antique automobile.
The car is in very good condition for restoration.
It is a Southern car and has only very minor surface rust in only a few locations.
It can be used as a daily driver with very little work.
That being said. it can become an astonishingly beautiful automobile with a total restoration.
It has hydraulic brakes. the famous "Silent 2 nd Gear" the motor was warranted in 1930 for 100. 000 miles (look it up and you'll see!). and the car will do over 70 mph.
Don't try that in a 1930 Ford or Chevy.
The Model 20 has the 120 inch wheel base. 4 doors and 5 passenger seating. 2 spares that ride on the front fenders. the wheels are steel spokes (not the lesser Model 15 wooden wheels). and the rear rack for the trunk carrying. The exact mileage is not known.
The odometer is stuck between numbers.
It appears to be in the 30 k area but hard to tell for sure.
