I am listing this for a friend so any questions please could you contact 1 instead of messaging myself.
This started as a good MOTD beetle 4 years ago. it has been chopped and filled with steel where the running boards were and the front where it had been chopped. There are 2 repairs 1 on the rear arch inside. 1 on the floor pan inside. When driving it is noisy and has no heating so real v dubers only apply. There are 11 months left on MOT plus 11 months tax which is free. There are only 2 seats at the moment however all the bits are there for 4 seats. all that is needed is the seat.
Below is a description of everything that is new and used to modify the vehicle:
Front end of vehicle
Head lights are new-buggy lights from flatlands engineering as well as indicators - Adjustable beam - New track rod ends and tie rods - New stearing damper - New petrol tank -Long nose bonett pre 67 - Drop spindles - Disk conversion -New shocks-bug pack shortened
Interior
2 uncomfortable seats at the moment -1 big rev counter -Extended gear stick with 8 ball gear knob - Original carpet in good condiction -Radio/CD
Back end
1641 engine which was built 3 years ago. it has done about 1500 mile since -1500 gear box -New shocks on rear which are empi -Rhino gear box mounts - Gear box compensator - Pre 67 boot lid with popes nose
Wheels
Rear 6" steel wheel powder coated hot rod red with a 215 x 80 x 15 tyre which are new - Front 4" steel wheel which are rear hot rod red powder coated 165 x 15 tyre
Costing of parts:
Headlights new £180 - Indicators new £50 - Beam extender new £300 - Front shocks new £75 - Stearing damper new £20 - Bonnet new £300 Boot lid new £200 - Engine new £1200 - Rev counter new £60 - Doors used £60 - Stearing box used £60 - Drop spindles/bearings new £150 -Disk conversions used £150 - Rear shocks new £60 - Petrol tank new £80- Back lights pre 1960 new £60 - Exhaust monza 2 tip used £50
This volks rod won a prize at the end of its first and only show it has attended.
These vehicle does not get used enough due to work commitments and would like it to go to an enthusiasts who appreciates volks rod.
I am open to discuss with yank pick up with bench seat.
