I am selling my 1940 Original All Steel Willy's Coupe. This car has a perfect original steel body. original 4 cylinder motor and floor 3 speed transmission. Car was originally from Texas I was told. I had all brakes overhauled with new shoes. new wiring. rebuilt carb. new wiring with GM fuse block. new battery. new tires. hoses. belt. radiator was cleaned. new rebuilt starter and new period interior installed. This Willy's has the original running boards which I removed and will go with the car. Car runs and drives fine. I also have a few NOS parts and parts manuals. All door gaps and body panels are real tight. Quarters and doors are arrow straight. All glass and windshield are nice condition. This car gets all the attention at shows. This car was too nice to hot rod. so I kept it in fairly original condition. It has 1950's olds hub caps and 1940 yellow California NOS license plates which are registered with the car in California. This car is sold as is.
