1926 Whippet overland Willys Deluxe Delivery for sale

Here Goes the story as it has been passed down from dad
Willy's built 50 1926 whippets to compete with the ford pick up and could not compete so this is the only one known to exist it is complete and running the engine has been changed to a Kubota diesel however it could be easily converted back to original with an engine and transmission i have the original seat frame however it is only a single seat as the cab had a door to the rear to Cary a ladder or longer cargo this was a garage restoration as a driver in the early 70. very solid no rust and can be driven home the ujoints are a little loose other than that it all works the spedo and cable was rebuilt to the cost of 600. 00 this engine is a little small for road travel it will do 45 on the flat and 30 up hills but it feels plenty fast to me in a mostly wooden cab it feels like i am in a orange crate :) you can see this vehicle in the national whippet Registry any questions call

It also cones with several xtra parts along with the origonal tool kit and owners manual I also have xtra tires and wood spoke wheels in very good condition
