SINGER BANTAM for sale
Current customer rating:
In wonderfully original condition. this rare Singer Bantam Deluxe Saloon is fresh from a private collection and is offered in sound running order.
Featuring a 972 cc overhead camshaft engine. hydraulic brakes and synchromesh on second and third gears. the Singer was the most advanced car in its market segment and is a delight to drive. It is also now very rare with approximately one hundred and fifty survivors worldwide.
The Deluxe model featured a sliding roof and a luggage grid and both items are still on this car. as is the desirable Bantam radiator mascot.
The engine starts readily and shows good oil pressure. All of the instruments are working and direction indicators have been fitted.
This delightful ‘Oily Rag' 9 HP Singer is in excellent structural condition and would make an ideal introduction to pre war motoring. The Singer can be enjoyed as it is but would also reward time spent on making small cosmetic improvements while not detracting from the originality of the car.
