Berkeley T 60 328 cc excelsior two stroke powered engine. manufactured 1960 (the company went bust in 1960) first registered 1961. One previous owner from new. not that it makes much difference as you can see the car was a complete re-build. The car took part in the clubs annual rally last weekend (65 miles). Last picture shows us on Biggleswade market square creating lots of interest from young and old. some old enough to chat about their experiences of Berkeleys as they were manufactured in Biggleswade from 1956 to 1960. I hope the pictures show the cars rebirth story but please contact me with any queries. The car has done just over 300 miles since fitting new piston rings so is close to being "run in. "I'm afraid there is no hood but there is a very nice newly painted frame. no side screens either but there is a half and full tonneau from previous cars which are very serviceable. The Berkeley Enthusiasts Club is quite active and a wealth of knowledge and good supply of spares. Viewing encouraged as these are unique little cars. The winning bidder will be enrolled into the club at my expense for the first year. (if he/she wishes). Reason for sale is that I have other Berkeley cars to restore.
