This is an unmolested 1973 TR 6 that is a perfect candidate for a daily driver or restoration.
This is a relisting. I listed it on e Bay back in October but the highest bidder never sent the payment. The transaction was reported to e Bay. This bidder was reprimanded by e Bay. The case is now closed.
Please do not bid useless you are serious and you are ready to cover the shipping or transportation costs.
This car needs to be picked-up or shipped before
January 3. 2015.
The car is located in Troy. Michigan which is about 20 miles north of Detroit. It will be your responsibility to arrange all shipping activities. quotes and costs.
This TR 6 starts great with good oil pressure. It drives well and it drives as well sorted.
A no- hands straight driver with good no -pull quiet brakes. The chassis. engine and drivetrain are in very good condition.
The body will need work to restore this car to a better condition.
The frame is straight and rust free. The rear frame section that attaches to the rear suspension trailing arms has been replaced and is solid. However. the front floors are rusted thru between the firewall and the front of the seats and need to be replaced or covered. The body has rust in the rear boot lid. lower right door. top of front & rear fenders and lower front fascia. The brake master cylinder and clutch slave cylinders are recent. The tires are recently new BF Goodrich P 205/70 R 15. The exhaust system and muffler are recently replaced. The engine compartment appears to also be unchanged since new with the related correct emissions hoses. The dash wood is weathered. The seats have lost all their padding. Top is old but okay.
Two small bb sized holes in windshield. The horn and windshield wipers do not work.
