Reluctantly For Sale is my 1971 Karmann Ghia Coupe 1600. I have lovingly restored this car (photographically documented) over the past three years - spending an absolute fortune in the process!(loads of receipts). Spent way more on this car than I am asking not including the hundreds for hours of labour!There is nothing left to do. but to highlight the extent of this refurb here's some of the things I've done: All welding including new floor pans and heater channels. Full bare metal respray in a lovely flat Audi grey colour (costing 4500) - classic and immaculate! Beautifully complimented by a hand made. cranberry red. leather interior using two full very high quality hides including door cards. dash and rear shelf with a custom made charcoal carpet set with matching leather edging. Engine rebuild on twin port 1600 with electronic ignition now fitted All tinware stripped and powder coated New clutch and re-con gearbox New disc brakes. new lowered shocks and suspension and new exhaust Brand new Porsche Fuchs replica wheels and brand new tyres All chrome refurbished and new rubber seals everywhere Basically - this is a brand new car never been driven on public roads. and ready for showing - a real head turner! Sad to see her go. but new project requires garage space.
