True Barn Find. This 1929 Packard 626 Sedan was found in a wharehouse in Eastern Washington where it was driven in and placed on blocks 30 years ago. A recent change in the wharehouse leasehold revieled this beautifully preserved example of a truly American luxury automobile. This car is all originial down to the straight eight engine which is reported by the late owners family to have been rebuilt just before it was driven into the warehouse and put up on blocks. There is no rust present anywhere in this vehicle. Upon removal from the warehouse the carb and fuel pump were restored to new condition. The old fuel was drained and the fuel system flushed. The oil was changed along with a thourough cleaning of the filter screen. Fresh fuel and a new battery were added and she fired right up. This is a driving vehicle. The brakes and all systems function. The vacume wiper even operates. This vehicle has all new tires including the two spares.
