Period colours; Acidic Yellow with black mudguards. brass trimmed deep buttoned black leather upholstery & tonneau. Four Lucas king of the road brass side lights and a fine pair of acetylene head lamps.

One of only two known surviving 8hp models world-wide.

A very capable. early dated. four/five seater that has good strong performance and excellent hill-climbing ability with five passengers. Easy to start and drive with four forward gears and reverse. Will cruise at 25-30mph.

A pre-war dating applicant. the certificate only being issued in 1947 due to the outbreak of war. this November 1904 car has completed numerous London - Brighton runs as evidenced by the London - Brighton programmes in which it is noted.

Engine: twin horizontal water-cooled cylinders with coil ignition : Transmission: cone clutch. 4-speed & reverse sliding gearbox with right-hand quadrant change. final drive by twin side chains to rear wheels; Chassis: Vickers section steel; Suspension: front. semi-elliptic leaf springs. rear. semi-elliptic; Wooden artillery wheels with Dunlop Cord beaded-edge tyres. Brakes: rear wheel internal expanding brakes and hand brake to outer drum. Right-hand drive. Hand or foot throttle.

Regent street concours entrant on several occasions.
Successfully completed the last 6 London-Brighton runs in current ownership.
Featured in a profile publications book that accompanies the car.

In 1904 this 8hp model was awarded a silver medal in the 1. 00 miles reliability trials. It being noted as; 'Splendid Hill Climber' and the ability to 'Run at 30 MPH with a full load'.
The original 1904 issued registration could be made available with the car.
