Clever Aussie engineers took the BMC Farina 4 cylinder and created a decent 6 cyl engine with appropriate 1962 capabilities and competed with the EK at 138 ci and EH 149 ci VS the 24/80 at 148.5 ci.With chassis tweaks and a better diff ratio this Wolseley in manual or 3 sp auto was a goer for that era.This old green survivor was pulled out from under a tree and completely worked over mechanically and electrically, being careful to only repair and replace to original spec, except for a big alternator. Engine got new rings, valve guides and seals, gaskets, cooling system restored, clutch, rebuilt Zenith carby, wiring is neg ground and all functioning, replaced g/box, steering and suspension replaced as needed, all new brakes. ($plenty spent)Manual 3 on the tree. Recent roadworthy cert (RWC not supplied). Air-conditioning is via all door quarter-light windows and its effective.Styled with Italian Pininfarina early 60 s big rear fins and big glass areas. The original paint is only a bit battle-scarred and the rust is barely surface stuff. The exterior includes no extras except for the Aussie visor and all the trims and badges are there for you.Its a genuine chrome bumper cruiser which is reliable and fun to drive. Its not a hot rod or a rat or a drag car, but it does do the business as it should.The interior is up for refurbishment and I'll give you all the pieces I've got to assist you with that. Dash is safe and solid but deliberately minimalist and functional. Freight, parts etc by negotiation. Bank transfer only, before release for the right person. Cash by negotiation but through EBAY.
