The car has had many thousands of pounds spent on the mechanical side as follows: Engine out, new full clutch kit fitted.  New fly wheel starter motor ring gear. New refurbished starter motor. New water pump. New distributor housing and sleeve. New all up rated engine and gear box mounts. Two new drive shafts and boots. New set of tyres. New full, original exhaust system and brackets. New fuel pipe. All new oils and lubricants. New clutch master cylindar and fluid. Drivers side front suspension, stripped and re-built with new parts, also new hose and fluid. Re-pressurised and now sits nice and level. Electrics converted to negative earth. New carb jet assembly. Rear windscreen removed. All metal edging cleaned and window replaced. There are lots more smaller mechanical items done, too many to list here. The above work was carried out by a highly respected Shropshire Classic Car Specialist.The outside of the car is in nice condition and as can been seen in the photo's. The one wheel arch will need some attention at some point, as seen in the photo's. The rest of the car's bodywork is in good condition. The exterior was the subject of a restoration by a previous owner. The car has also had a new battery.The interior is a nice place to be, very comfortable with new carpets fitted by the previous owner. The dashboard is in nice condition but a bit tired looking. The radio is not working and the dash top needs a new speaker mesh, as again, can be seen in the photo's. The time clock was working but, seems to have stopped, may just need cleaning. The driver's seat has a small cut that is repairable.The car drives very well and the engine is good. The gearbox works as you would expect. The clutch is obviously fine, being a complete new system. The car can be used as is, with the above items being repaired at your leisure. Overall, a nice, honest car that has cost far more than it's actual worth for the mechanical repairs.Note. The wooden gear stick nob in the photo will be replaced with the black original one.Car to be collected within 7 days of Auction end.  Cleared funds in my bank before car is taken away.You are welcome to view.
