Hudson Essex -Super Six-1928 for sale

This 1928 Hudson Essex is just lovely . The 4 seater . door tourer really smacks of that art deco period loved by so many . The Hudson came over from Detroit in parts as they all did and was assembled in a factory in Essex . This is a uk car from new . The original registration which is transferable . hich has a value of 3-4 k will remain with the car if the full price is paid . therwise may be retained by us . The car starts 1 st time everytime and has been ultra reliable for the previous owner . Used mainly for shows etc? it has won prizes at many different local events. Our research has found a few others for sale but not open top tourers .
Weather you decide to put this to some nice work ie film sets or weddings or just enjoy like the previous owners . We think this represents excellent value for money.
The original flathead Six Cylinder engine is running lovely . No Smoking or untoward noises at all . Very basic . ut still very well maintained . The brakes have all been relined recently . The original 6 volt system is all working fine . All the lights work correctly etc etc.
Wheels. Tyres & Brakes
The original wooden wheels are in 1 st class condition . Though nothing in the history file . hese must have been restored at some time . They are in good condition and run true. The tyres are all in excellent condition and are period to the car. They are all proper Firestone whitewalls . The spare is not whitewalled .
The Burgandy and White paintwork really suits the car . Not an original colour scheme but none the less looks lovely . All four doors open and shut with ease . The art deco chrome extras really set the car off lovely . The original headlights are unique and are in perfect working order . The hood is all excellent with a nice transparent rear screen. The paintwork was done along time ago . o there are a few minor scuffs and chips all minor and just conducive with use. Underneath the car is very clean . Everything has been greased and oiled . There is a chrome luggage rack which is a bolt on extra . All weather sidescreens which are as new and easy to fit are also included
The Burgandy leather trim is excellent . aving been retrimmed some years ago to a very good standard. The carpets were all done at the same time and show no signs of wear . This car has not been used for weddings in the past so no silly stains etc .
