Many of our photos of this classic Mercedes-Benz were taken at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum. located only minutes from our showroom. Be sure to visit our friends at the Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas. Texas.

This car is out of a private collection. The mileage of 15. 78 is suposed to be original to the car. The car was in an estate sale belonging to an older gentleman who had several low mileage cars. All of the cars showed aging. but were hardly driven over the years.

The engine compartment is in excellent condition. indicative of the original mileage. The engine is the 3. 8 liter all-aluminum V 8. This powerplant was rated at 150 horsepower+ and it delivers. The engine runs smooth and the 4-speed automatic transmission shifts as it should.

Further inspection of the engine compartment will confirm original decals. markings. and identification plates throughout. The underhood insulation is in excellent condition and original. The firewall. inner fender and core support sheetmetal is in excellent condition as well.

The exterior showcases the original body with some paintwork done in the original light blue finish. The paint is in good condition. with some flaws to note.

There is a minor rust area on the top frame of the driver's door & weatherstrip channel. shown above.

Open the doors to 1982. This interior is beautiful. showcasing the original dark blue leather.

The dash is clean and detailed. in very good condition.

There is one dash crack beginning near the driver's side speaker perforations. Otherwise. the dash is straight and distortion free. The gauges are original. clear and in very good condition.

The leather upholstery is original and in exceptional condition. front to back with exception of color fade/rub primarily on the driver and passenger seat bottom along with the arm rest cushion. The 380 SEL offers comfortable seating for 5. The door panels are also clean and detailed original as is the carpeting and mats.

The wood grain shows well. The original Becker Grand Prix cassette stereo is in place along with the climate control system.

The trunk is clean and detailed original. complete with the factory mat. spare tire/wheel. and jacking equipment.

The underbody is solid throughout. indicative of a dry climate Mercedes.

PAYMENT METHODS

Our preferred method of payment is bank wire transfer. or 3 rd party financing. We can work with you if that is a problem. All funds must be in US dollars only. Please be sure to have full payment or approved financing in place before making your final bid. Feel free to call us with any questions.

PAYMENT OF BALANCE DUE

The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due within 5 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before the vehicle leaves our dealership.

TAX. TITLE AND LICENSE

We are a licensed Texas dealership. It is required that we collect all tax. title and license fees from Texas residents at the time of the sale. We will do all of the title work. Non Texas residents are responsible for paying taxes in his/her state. Overseas customers will be charged a $30. 00 fee for wire transfers. We must collect a vehicle inventory tax of . 002277% and a small documentary fee of $75. 00 on ALL sales.

The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We can refer you to a number of national and international shippers. Once the vehicle leaves our dealership. we will take no further responsibility for the vehicle.
