Conceived by one of the leading industrial designers of our time. Giorgetto Giugiaro. the Maserati Ghibli is considered to be one of the most beautiful Grand Touring cars ever built. a four cam. 4. 7 liter V8 engine producing near three hundred horsepower and a top speed in excess of 150 mph. the Ghibli has the pedigree to match its presence. With less than 1200 examples produced over a seven year production run. you are unlikely to ever cross paths with another Ghibli.

This particular example is partially disassembled but is a mostly complete car that includes its original engine. a new. professionally upholstered Italian leather interior and is ready for restoration. Owned for over 30 years by an older east coast collector. it was run and driven regularly before he decided to have it restored while he was out of the country for some time. Upon his return. the original owner decided to undertake the restoration himself until making the decision to sell rather than complete. Following tradition. the owner decided to restore the car to its original Red/Tan livery.

The Ghibli has been rapidly increasing in popularity and. as such. value. Properly restored examples have been going for $150-180. 00 at auction.
