Helping a friend sell his bus.
NO RESERVE! 1964 Sundial Camper in original condition.
This is a one owner bus that has been in California its whole life.
Shows great age and patina.
Currently in running and driving condition.
Only has 93 k og miles. original paint. original interior. etc. Registered and come with a clean CA title.
This bus would be a perfect patina original running bus or restore to new.
A lot of mechanical work recently including.
Rebuilt 1600 Dual port with low miles New wheel Bearings
New brakes(drums. hardware. shoes. seals. and some lines)
New tires(8 ply 185-14)
Rebuilt Gear Reduction boxes(bearings. seals. fluid)
New pistons
New heads
New seals
95 amp german alternator upgrade
12 v Conversion
Engine flywheel is a 200 mm 6 v flywheel(rare) 6 v starter for faster starting
New clutch New brake master cylinder New slave cylinder
New fuel lines
New throw out bearing and throw out rod+bushing
New Vacuum advance distributor
New 34 mm Carb
New german Cap and rotor. plugs and wires.
Original Windows are in great shape. no broken glass. Louvered camping windows are in ok condition. but the glass has become cloudy.
Original Upholstery. amazing front seats are like new!
Original Paint
Original full length roof rack included. in bad shape. but savable.
a big pine branch fell onto the rack while it was installed on the bus. did a small amount of damage to the roof(see pics) but the rack saved the bus from being a taco.
all tent frames are included for the original sundial side tent. no upholstery though. just frames.
just like ALL volkswagens. you get a small box of random vw parts that belong to this bus. extras.
As you can see in the pics. this bus does have some rust but nothing too bad! A lot of the typical rust areas are very dry.
