Seller's notes: Here we have a delightful half sized US Willys Jeep powered by a 12 HP petrol engine with electric start. This jeep is a bespoke handmade replica of the real thing and the attention to detail is fantastic. It has working front and rear lights and a folding screen as well as a spare wheel and fuel can. It can be driven by children and adults (at a squeeze) and has a 4 speed gearbox with reverse. This is a one off and attracts attention wherever it goes. A lovely scale model and great fun to drive around.

Welcome to my listing for this wonderful half scale US Army Willys Jeep. This little gem is powered by a 12 hp petrol engine - running on unleaded - and starting via an ignition key.  
This Jeep is a replica of the real thing and was built by a chap who owned several full size Willys Jeeps from where he took his measurements when creating this for a commission. This is a true one-off model and is very authentic in its looks. The condition although used is very good. It starts up with a bit of choke and runs well from the off. The 12 hp motor and chassis were dontated from a ride on mower and the then modified and extended to give the correct dimensions for the body which was based on a life sized vehicle and the attention to detail is really outstanding.
This little jeep really attracts attention wherever it goes from just about everyone who sees it. It can be driven by anyone from about the age of 7 upwards but if you are adult it is a bit of a squeeze its fair to say! The Jeep comes with a set of 4 decent wheels with a rear mounted spare along with a folding windscreen. opening bonnet. seatbelts and a Jerry can mounted on the back. The canvas seat cushions are removable and the rear view mirror is fully adjustable.
I did think about doing some light restoration on the Jeep but to be honest. I think I prefer it as it is with the 'used' look. My kids love it and everyone else too and its a fantastic. unique little gem.
