1982 Austin Mini 1000

For a much reluctant sale is my 1982 Mini 1000. The car has had a full nut and bolt restoration with no expense spared. He has undergone a full bare metal respray just a couple of weeks ago along with a full interior retrim. complete engine/gearbox rebuild (998 cc). new chromes. rubbers etc. This included new sills. apanels. complete doors and front wings for the respray.

Engine had only done 2. 00 miles since the previous owner had himself rebuilt it. but for peace of mind (and because it's what we do) we completely stripped down and inspected the engine. then reassembled. No issues there although we did upgrade the manifold to lcb and a big bore exhaust to make him sound lively.

The interior was all thrown out and replaced with brand new seats. carpet. roof lining etc. And the dash. rear parcel shelf and door cards have been trimmed in denim.

The only things to not be replaced for new were the sub frames as they were only a few years old. have only been driven in the dry and have been wax oiled on a regular basis. New drum brakes and pads all round as well as new slaves cylinders. I have invoices totalling over £7500 and that's not including labour! 12 months MOT (no advisories obviously) and 6 months tax The car has been driven just 77 miles in the dry since the rebuild. there is quite literally not a mark on it. Unfortunately money is needed for a new home so somebody else will have to enjoy what we have built. For a little peace of mind the car has been restored by classic car specialists Aston Motorsport LTD not just your average joe like most of the minis out there.

The head unit is Bluetooth and connects straight to your phone without taking it from your pocket. car has been fully sound deadened and has two jl speakers in the dash. The boot lining is made to take a 10" sub but I don't have this yet. It was my last job that sadly I won't get around to now :-( I do have a brand new jl amplifier still in box that will come with the car.
