1954 Vauxhall Velox Utility. Body designed and built by GMH Holden here in Australia. It was marketed as a full chassis GMH alternative to the FJ Holden ute. 138 ci 6 cyl with 3 speed column change gearbox.
The body and chassis were professionally restored in 2007 and finished in Breeze Blue. Interior reupholstered in light grey with blue trim. The rear tray has been replenished with original style timber boards and side panels.
Near new original spec Excelsior crossply tyres are fitted all round. The ute is in good mechanical condition and has been driven from Adelaide to Sydney - used no oil. blew no smoke. no overheating and cruised across the Hay Plains. along the Hume and country roads nicely.
This particular vehicle is a bit of an internet star and has featured for several years on the Wikipedia and google images sites for Australian Coupe Utilities
The Vauxhall ute is unique to Australia and can only appreciate in value. Will deliver to Sydney docks/transport facilities for interstate or overseas buyers.
