Hi. Welcome to the very reluctant sale of my 1963 Aussie Volkswagen Beetle.
The car is a front page feature of Volksworld magazine December 2013
Purchased in 2011 it took
2 years to
restore.
Painted in L 380 Turkis Repairs have included replacement front skirt (Autocraft) not mexico steel. /
front wings body contact sections. back of wheel arches . bonnet and engine deck rubber seal and trim removed/repaired
not unusual
on a 50 yrs plus car.
All work is to standard
using
only high quality parts
as needed. with over £10. 00
spent
and
receipts to prove this.
The car has a fully adjustable '
slamwerks '
beam
including
dropped spindles and lowered shocks all round. gas on the rear and oil on the front
(i have had the car low but has been raised for the sale. can send pics if required)
The car has new rubbers
on . windows . doors. / bonnet and deck lid . including new front screen.
Stainless steel trim including running boards set off the external finishes.
Wheels powder coated white
then finished off in the turkis. Internally the floor pan is acoustically lined ( the good stuff). underfelted then fitted with carpet. matched with two colour door cards and refurbished seats.
Just spent another £500 having MOT. Fuel system serviced including twin carbs.
