Fiat X19

Fiat X19 lovers only…anyone else would not understand.   This is probably the best Fiat X19 ebay has had in years.  

White 1983 Fiat X19 with approx. 58. 00 original miles.   The car is all original and has not been modified in any way with the exception of new carpet. seats recovered and the “head light mod” which improves the headlight brightness.   The engine and transmission are in great condition and I drive it daily on the interstate cruising at 70 mph.   The car doesn't smoke or miss and the transmission shifts fine in all gears.   I've had the car for about 5 years and have done just about everything needed as far as general maintenance new starter. alternator. clutch and brake master cylinders. new tires. new belts including the timing belt. new brakes. new fuel pump and filter. etc. etc.   The car is absolutely good enough for local car shows. It's virtually rust free.   Everything works on the car except the a/c…the a/c compressor is fine and discharge press is correct…and I've replace the expansion valve and recharged the sys. with the newer 234 refrigerant but still can't get the a/c to put out cold air…. I'm sure that it could be fixed but I haven't tried again since it started getting hotter weather.   The heater control slide on the dash is broken but it's only a cosmetic thing as the water to the heater can be cut off in the eng. compartment.   I think there's a spare slider bar in the parts supplied.

The second item included with this listing is a Red 1987 Fiat X19 which I have pictured.   The car was running when we got it with the intention of restoring it.   We removed the engine and trans. And started disassembly to restore but stopped.   I have all the pieces pictured or still on the car.   The engine and trans are shown in the pictures and are included in the listing.   The car is restorable and there are enough parts and pieces that came from the car or we have purchase new to completely restore the 1987 to excellent condition or just use it as a parts car.

The third item included in the listing is a complete new motor and transmission with less than 3000 miles on them.   I bought the unit off ebay about 5 years back and the story was that the car the eng. / trans were removed from was a dealer demo unit which caught on fire while a customer was test driving it.   The fire was extinguished and the car sat on the lot for years until it was sold when the dealership closed.   I got it from the guy that bought it from the dealer.   It really is a new unit from all appearances.   You can tell there was a fire at sometime in its life for sure due to some black soot on the bottom of the oil pan and it's overall new appearance with no grease or oil anywhere.  

The fourth item included in the listing is a professionally rebuilt head. which is also pictured with the misc. parts.

The fifth item included is a very wide assortment of parts for the X19… everything from computer brains. dash panels with gauges. trim pieces. starters. alternators. clutch kit new. flywheel. new brake pads and hoses. etc. etc…. just take a look at the parts pictured…if you're a Fiat X19 person you'll know what you're looking at.

If you win the bid you will get everything: Both cars and all the parts.   I'm setting the starting price at $5000. I feel that the 1983 is well worth this price by itself and whoever gets this deal will have more than there moneys worth considering the 1987 Red X19. two engines and trans. . all parts both new and used items.
