For Auction is what must be an exceptionally rare White lorry. I am advised that it is 1918 but cannot guarantee this within a couple of years either way. I purchased the truck in California last year from the owner/ restorer who purchased it 7 years earlier. The truck has been stored since around 1940 and was fitted with a flat or stake sided cargo body but the rear body [wooden] was badly damaged by a fire in the barn where it was stored. I believe it was open cabbed having the front windscreen and little more than a wooden box/ bench built over the fuel tank [also fire damaged] I have a detailed plan of how the body was and it would be most straightforward to produce. The truck has solid rubber tyres and the wheels have wooden spokes. the spokes in the nearside rear wheel are fire damaged.  Many hours have been spent so far on the restoration and due to the hot/ dry climate the condition is far better than a truck stored in the UK. The truck was stripped down to a rolling chassis and shipped to the UK like that. we have assembled it loosely to show how complete it is.  The engine is seized and we have made no effort to free it. I am advised it was free when the previous owner purchased it.   We have more pictures of the truck and can gladly email them if you provide a personal email address but in order to fully appreciate this vehicle I recommend viewing. The quality of engineering is fantastic and given the lack of corrosion damage it has the potential to achieve a superb restored standard. Many parts appear to have had only light usage for example the pedals and floor plates have very little wear on them. So if you are looking for a pre 1920 high quality rare truck with great presence this might be it.  I am not an expert on White trucks. I have tried to be as accurate as possible with the information but cannot guarantee the information is all correct and invite anyone with more knowledge to please share it.   UK delivery is possible at £1. 00 per mile return but only after full payment.   I request only genuine serious bids and advise anyone who is unsure to come and view before bidding. I write to you, to know if the truck is still for sale.
I own one, TBC model, but not badly damaged, the chassis is cracked, the transmission too.
Do you know what model it is, (TBC, TAD, ...) normally there are foundry parts on which it is indicated.
Can you send me additional photos? I am in France.
