Classic Car Magazine published an article on XK 150's  in January 2014 with Russ Smith stating the following:

I've focused on the drophead coupe in particular as over time it has replaced the roadster as top dog out of the thee models – the fixed head remaining resolutely third.   And that reflects a change in buyer.   These cars are popular for tours. and however much sportier the roadster looks. the drophead provides a more civilised place to spend a long journey while still offering the fresh air option when it suits.   Despite recent rises. XK150's still look good value. at least next to early E-types. and particularly. Merc 190 SLs. which are a lot slower.

Price £87. 00
