1937 Citroen Type 850 truck for sale

This very original pre war CITROEN type 850 truck  ( 850KG payload))  has been dry stored for many years. It is in remarkably good structural condition. A very early diesel engine of 1767 cc . with indirect mechanical fuel injection.   Unfortunately the pump was missing when I found the vehicle in France. It is a Bosch DN/40S2 .   I have not really had time to try and source one. I gather that this pump was fitted to a number of other makes of vehicles. Failing that. I would fit a more modern engine and gearbox for better power and economy. . Most of these trucks were commandeered by the Nazis in the war. This one appears to have escaped ?  The engine turns freely. It is good underneath. The canvas top is excellent. Would make a great film vehicle. It has been officially imported and can now be UK registered.   Tel Geoff 01622 884287
