The Opportunity to own a Cheese grater Grille Split Screen saloon Morris Minor of this stand out quality certainly does not present itself every day!This particular car was fully restored in 2007 by its previous owner at a cost of over £12. 00. Which included new floor pans. wings. inner sills. outer sills. tie plates. jacking points etc etc a total engine out respray. So it is safe to say that the car is in very good order both in the body work and underneath. The Morris has had an engine upgrade to a 948cc "A" Series engine with unleaded conversion. which runs very well and is a lot more responsive than the cars side valve lump would have been. oupled to this is a full stainless steel exhaust system which sounds superbly.
The cars brakes pull her up as they should and the transmission selects gear well with no noise from either the gear box or the diff. overall the car is as fun to drive as it looks. The Split Screen has also had a set of Minilite wheels added. which look fantastic(***** however if not to client taste will be replaced with original refurbished steel wheels and trims at not extra cost!****). Inside the car benefits from its original interior which is in good clean condition with red leather seats and carpets and good headlining.
In Summary if you are looking for a split screen Morris Minor then this is a must view car in excellent condition. that drives superbly.
