Available for purchase is this 1960 Morris Minor Coupe. It was owned by one of my closest friends. who passed away suddenly before Christmas. It was his pet project and it was going to be restored as a modified car. It is fitted with a Nissan motor (looks like a 1200) and an automatic transmission (Japan). It has modified suspension and disc brake front end. It also has a large quantity of original and new parts that go with the car- a big shed full of them. It includes 9 medium size plastic storage boxes full of new parts my friend brought in from England featuring tail light lens and surrounds. brightwork. instruments. bushes. rubbers. leads and wiring. electricals. there is probably thousands of dollars in parts here. Note the new timber steering wheel as well as what appears to be an early Morris timber sports steering wheel. There are reproduction rubber floor mats and new underlays. all of the door hardware (internal and external). special headlights and driving lights. mirrors. and too many other items to list. It has all of the original Morris rims plus a set of four mag wheel rims you can see in the bottom left had corner of picture 5. He also bought two modern compact size spare rims for the boot.  There are also many/most of the original parts with the car. One of the doors is missing the upper door frame and the car is missing its front clip: bonnet. mudguards. grill and front panel. I am unsure what happened to these. As there are two new rear guards in fibreglass (the originals are there too). he may have been going to source these body panels in fibreglass as well. It was his intention to turn this Morris into a little performance machine!
The car and parts (you may need a small truck for these!) will need to be picked up on the weekend of 18/19 March preferably. and possibly 20-22 March. Please contact me if these dates don't suit. The car and parts are located at Pendle Hill. a western suburb of Sydney.
This will make a really nice project for someone and the new owner will be very excited to see all of these fantastic parts that come with the car. I have some additional pictures of the parts. let me know if you would like them e-mailed to you.
