1969 triumph GT6+

1969 gt 6+.

Solid CA car.

These are the rarest (only 12. 66 produced) & arguably the best looking of the gt 6 models.

I will start by going over the mechanical items :

*rear suspension components were gone thru by the previous owner.

New rotoflex couplings and shocks.

wishbones & vertical links were removed and powder coated.

New bushing kits installed. New rear brake shoes installed.

*brake master cylinder rebuilt & front pads replaced.

*clutch master & slave cylinders rebuilt

*gas tank sealed & lines replaced & new fuel pump

*carbs removed & new carb kits installed

*new water pump

*new motor mounts front & trans mounts rear

*new abs trans cover

*Head was removed and all water passages cleared in the block. Head was pressure washed disassembled .

valves lapped & reassembled.

New gaskets. compression all cyls within 10 of 160 psi

Exterior

*w/shield & back glass rubber replaced (removed before paint)

*door w/strip. hatch w/strip. rear 1/4 glass w/strip new

*new rear marker lamps. reverse lamps & license lamp

*silver paint
Chrome is original & shows its age but still looks fine for a driver.

Glass has no cracks or bullseyes but is original also. Paint shows some minor flaws that would probably buff out but this isn't a show car! If you are expecting a brand new 45 year old car . ON'T BID !
Interior:

*dash redone in walnut burl

*seats reupholstered with cloth inserts

*sound deadener on floors & inner panels

* new carpet & inner panels

*Rare wood gt 6+ shift knob

+alpine cd player

All lights and gauges work as they should Heater & wipers work.

Rear window defogger does not work! Wheels are from a gt 6 mk 3 with the chrome center capshave the original jack but there is no spare.
An owners manual & workshop manual will be included.

New front shocks and a new clutch kit will also be included .

The ones in the car are still fine.

I'm sure there will be some things to sort out as the car is driven.

It has current CA tags so you're more than welcome to take a test drive if you're in the area.
