Current customer rating:
This is a 1941 Lincoln Continental Coupe for sale. The owner is an acquaintance of mine.
He is not good with computers.
I am good with computers so he asked me to put this up for him.
I am not an expert on these cars. but I've done my best and taken lots of pictures.
Here is what he told me about the car.
1941 Lincoln Continental Coupe
About the car : I bought this car about 8 years ago. I found it in an antique shop in Montana.
It had a sign on the windshield that said: "Runs great" . and it did.
I bought it and had it shipped here. It had never been restored.
After I got it I sanded it down to bare metal and had it professionally repainted in its original color. I also had some chrome redone. The interior was done locally (non original).
Everything else is original.
It has been well maintained. I live in St. Augustine. Florida and it has always been protected from the elements.
My wife is pressuring me to reduce my collection so I am offering my 1941 Lincoln Continental Coupe up for sale. (I'm also selling a 1915 Ford and would entertain a package deal. )
The V 12 engine fires up and runs smooth. You can hear the hydraulic valve lifter in the video.
It drives straight and true. It has a 3-speed automatic transmission and shifts smoothly.
It has four nice wide white tires.
There are 61. 87 miles on it.
The original radio still works.
Known issues : The padding in the trunk on the left side came undone. The left rear blinker didn't work when we took the pictures. It could be a bulb - but I'm not sure.
There a couple areas where there are surface paint scratches. There are a couple minor areas of the upholstery in the back seat. The passenger window is a little stubborn on the way up but it does go up. You can see all of these things in the photos.
It has all the original logos. emblems. and hood ornament.
