Rare Citroen 2CV AZU Van

Built in 1960. Ripple Bonnet and suicide doors.

The van was originally an EDF/GDF Vehicle so it has a few non standard features.

Tubular front bumper and sump guard. large glove box and charging point on the bulkhead.

The van has not been restored. it is original apart from a bit of paint.

It has been garaged most of it's life.

Excellent chassis. no rot.

The bodywork is good. there are a few screw holes in the sides where advertising boards were placed.

Front wings are very good. the bonnet and bonnet hinge have no rot.

Front doors have a bit of filler at the top but the bottoms are very good.

Side panels are ok. a bit of rust in the petrol panel and on the top hat sections.

Rear valance is good. rear doors have some rust but nothing serious.

There is a dent on the passenger side roof that has been knocked out. it needs a bit more work to repair correctly.

The van is over 50 years old so don't expect perfection. it is extremely solid and can be used as is. or a rolling restoration.  

The van will come with a new CT. for 5 years. it is on a Carte Gris Collection.

It drives well. mechanically good.

2CV Vans are becoming hard to find in usable condition. ripple bonnet ones are very rare in a good usable condition.
