For sale is this fantastic MG TD imported from the US (dry state).  This right hand drive MG TD 1953 is a real barn find and a PERFECT candidate for restoration giving the new owner an opportunity to restore it to their preferred standard.

Having looked over the vehicle it is in great condition. no rust problems visible on the body or chassis and it has what looks like the original paint (due to the thin paint depth). It seems to be complete and comes with tonneau cover. all side windows and convertible hood.

The engine fires and starts first time and sounds superb and has excellent oil pressure.  The clutch is free and all the gears can be selected perfectly. The brakes are spongy so I have not driven the car any distance other than my driveway.

What makes this car different is the fact it is a very rare 4 seater vehicle and ideal for a couple of children in the back and attending the great classic shows!

Car is based 30 mins from Ipswich in Suffolk as it's back in storage whilst for sale. All photos were taken within the last 24 hours - so what you are looking it is the real deal.  

P/X considered depending on vehicle (classic cars only).  Note: Car has been imported from so the number plate is not UK registered. (Do not assume this plate comes with the car is what I am saying. When UK registered it will be registered with a 1953 plate).

 

If you are considering a project. this is absolutely ideal due to its condition. Has to be better than buying a box of bits and I see many advertised with seized engines. missing parts. rust issues etc. This has be the most economical approach as the major expense items are all working and in great condition.
