Comments and questions to the seller:
from Tim Bonikowske, dated 15 december 2019This car was shown at the 2019 Cadillac LaSalle Fall Nationals. Not known to still exist, it created a lot of attention. As a Documented Factory Sales Demonstrator, this Coupe is remarkably rare. It is very likely the last known existing Dual Side Mount Coupe 5027 series. You will not find another. It Takes DEEP Pockets for this car, But you will have the only 1! Starting at $200,000 may take partial trades

Hi this car is now For Sale, 6/15/2019. The posting from the Car's From the UK, is not valid. The pictures were taken in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, 10 or more years ago. The car had been driven approx 3 miles in the past 20+ years, before I purchased it. It will be on display at the Iola Old Car Show, the 2nd weekend in July. Please contact me directly at [email protected] with any questions you may have regarding a possible purchase before the show. This may be the only 5027 series dual sidemount coupe known to exist. Only 3 were made. The original invoice appears to show this was a factory distributor demo, and picked up at the factory in Canada in October, 1939. Very very Rare!!! Don't wait contact me now if you want to purchase. [email protected]

This is a Great 40 LaSalle 5027 Coupe, and getting more refined the longer I own it. Took a 1st in the first show it was taken to this summer. It gets people turning around and coming back to get a 2nd look and visit about it, every time is on the street. No one I have talked with, has ever seen a Dual side mount 2dr.Will consider offers near $100k, find another '40 coupe, with the 6 wheel option.

This is a Great Coupe! If everything checks out, as an original Series 5027, Dual Sidemount Coupe, it may be 1 of only 3 made. I am having the vin. and data plate researched by GM Hieratage for verifacation. Cadillac Motor Division has kept the records for every car they ever made back to 1902, sweet. Will let you know, the value will really increase if it is!!!

Hi, I was wondering if there is a way for me to find out more on this car, when and where it was restored. I am currently looking at it in Wisconsin, and will most likely purchase it this fall. Was it always a Dual Sidemount car?
from John Porter, dated 15 july 2014
Hi: Name is John Porter, Knoxville TN. I rescued this LaSalle out of a field in Tennessee 20 years ago and did a frame off restoration. I have lots of pictures starting with the frame. Kept it for 10 years and sold it to an antique car dealer in Knoxville probably 8 years ago. Glad to see it is still alive!!
