Purchased as a Class 5 Baja Bug. repainted it. made it street legal (barely. and swapped in custom Subaru engine and transmission. Engine is 2. 0l JDM from 1996 Subaru Impreza WRX. 220 HP. single turbo. aftermarket CPU. Built with help from Outfront Motorsports. and Subarugears. Runs great. more reliable than any VW powered car. 5 speed is good up to 320hp and has 4. 10 gears. 1962 body. titled as a 1974. no smog. I drive it around Oceanside on the weekends. and to car shows. It gets a lot of looks. I have a lot of money into this. the starting bid is cheaper than the cost of parts I have into it.
