1936 Morris Eight

This Lovely Series 1 Morris Eight not only looks fantastic it is also fighting fit at over 75 Years old.

She is a lovely example of the much sought after pre war Morris finished in the Most popular colour combination of Black over blue.

Exterior wise the cars paint work is very good and has a lovely shine to it. the chrome work of the car is also good and overall its appearance can be described as good.

Under the bonnet the cars engine bay is also very clean and tidy.

Its 803cc engine is powerful and pulls the car well we were reliably informed by its last keeper that it has been remanufactured a little over 5 years ago.

The cars transmission is very smooth on changes and does not whine or rattle as with some cars of this age.

On braking the car pulls up square and abruptly there is receipts with the Morris for new brake linings which would explain this.

Inside the cars seats are in very good order and have been recovered in Leatherette to match the door cards and carpets in Light blue which are all in good order as is the headlining.

Overall the car has been well kept in its lifetime and drives as such.

Should the screen price be raised the Morris will be fully serviced and waxoyled underneath for extra protection against the elements.

Any inspection is welcomed and encouraged at our Halifax Showroom.

The car can be transported both nationally and internationally at a pre agreed rate. /p>

Good Morning,

We have with us an old Morris 8 1936 steering column and the owner would like us to restore the column which has your normal wear on it so the worm and stud slip, are loose! Hopefully this makes sense :-)

Any suggestions on who has the old machinery that may be able to help - long shot I know.

This car might be a 1936 model, but the wheels should be wire wheels, the "easy clean" wheels came out in 1937. any comments on this.
