1985 280 GE M 4 G Wagon LWB in rare
5 speed Manual
This is a rare opportunity to own a fast appreciating classic in great condition. in what I believe to be the most favourable colour combination.
Aesthetically this G has had some subtle changes giving it a newer G 55 AMG/ Brabus look however if you prefer 100% original this can be achieved as all the changes are small and easily reversible (original plastic spare tyre cover and Mercedes seat covers are included in the sale).
The number plate also resembles a private registration plate so adds to the ageless look.
The engine pulls well and being a 5 speed manual. economy is fair especially for motorway driving.
ALWAYS starts first time even on cold mornings. I have previously owned a 230 and 300 GD (slow as a slug!) and believe the 280 engine has the best performance. -
