1956 AC Aceca Bristol 2.0L for sale
Current customer rating: (636 votes ) based onThis AC Aceca is powered by a 1971 cc. overhead valve. inline-6. iron block. aluminum head. three Solex carburetors. 9. 0:1 compression ratio. Bristol 100D engine and produces 120 horsepower @ 5750rpm. 122 lbs. ft. torque @ 4500 rpm. Front and rear independent suspension with transverse leaf spring. dual wishbones. Original Derrington Wheel. Bristol 100D engine. chrome wire wheels 16". drum brakes. full bumpers. no tool kit. black on black. good wood. not authentic grille.
The Aceca is the coupe version of the Ace. on which the famed AC Cobra was based. Only 45 Acecas were exported to the US between 1956 and 1960. and only two were equipped with this engine/chassis configuration. This example spent many years in storage and was acquired by the current owner in 1988 as part of a deal for the engine. which was still installed in the car. It has not been restored cosmetically or mechanically since then. This vehicle has been owned and maintained by renowned restoration specialist Geoffrey Griffiths of Treasured Motorcar Services. driven and enjoyed on weekends and nice days.
