1964 Morgan +4 Roadster 4-Seater with Triumph TR 4 engine in excellent running condition.

This vehicle has arrived from a trade-in and actually has a very recent local owner to Fredericksburg VA. The Morgan Factory Chassis Record shows the Green color as the original option. however. the interior has received a change from Black leather to tan Connley leather with Wilton wool carpets. Excellent tires all around with great road control for the age.

Mechanical Work: Engine freshened up with new rings. bearings. water pump and complete valve job including new springs/valves/guides. Rebuilt fuel system including carbs. lines. fuel pump and fuel tank. Rebuilt complete brake system with all NEW wheel and master cylinders. rebuilt front calipers/shoes/pads/flex lines. All new belt. hoses and thermostat changed. Fluids changed to include transmission. New voltage regulator. starter solenoid and fuse box. Generator puts out correct voltage. Oil pressure measured steady at 50-55 psi at speed.
Runs and drives as a Morgan should with great gear box (typical Moss) and a strong motor which starts right up. No wheel shimmy. brakes work well and all safety equipment and electrical works well.

Interior and Covers: The black leather top is very nice with no cuts or tears. The tan canvas "Stayfast" top bow cover and full "Stayfast" tonneau cover are in like-new condition. As a four seater. the seats are adjustable fore and aft making it possible for taller or more stout rivers/passengers. The top and all side curtains appear original. The plastic windows are yellowed and need cleaning or polishing for realistic use. The Connley leather is in great shape with a very nice aroma. The wool carpets are very durable and have a quality presentation. Includes rubber Morgan floor mats to protect.

Exterior: There was a repaint of the original color at some point. likely many years prior that has not survived very well. There is still plenty of luster and shine. but up-close. there will be many points of notice for chips. cracks. scratches and the like. Frame and suspension have the usual minor surface rust from driving but no serious issues or cracked frame. Some surface rust here and there have been touched up. No rust holes in body panels and the wood is the original wood to the car. Chrome is average with nice shine.

Tool kit is included with jack. 2 wood hood props and extra belts/hoses. So much history in this roadster. Perfect for someone who will appreciate the driving quality and age patina of various areas. Our favorite is the sheep-skin leather hood belt. Certainly original and makes for a more complete look than a brand new belt!
