Current customer rating:
This vehicle is titled as a 1945. but the Chrysler Corp Museum in Auburn Hills has confirmed the build date as 06-04-1943.
Serial Number – 82005132
Motor Number – T 223-6122
Body Number – 5202
Build Date – June 4. 1943
This truck was shipped to the UK and was used in the invasion of France and Germany by the US Army. It was then transferred to the French Army in 1945 after the end of hostilities. It remained in service until 1980. and was rebuilt by the French Military in the early 1960 s'. It then spent time in a Dutch Museum. before being exported back to the US in the mid 90 s'. I have owned this for about 4 years. and have had all systems maintained. restored where necessary. and replaced if needed. Everything works. everything is complete. It starts immediately and drives perfectly. although do not forget. it has a crash box! Only used in parades a couple of times a year. it is kept undercover year round. Something for the serious collector. especially with the 70 th D Day anniversary coming up this summer. There is a reserve. which is a lot less than I have invested in the vehicle. but please do not ask what it is.
The vehicle can be inspected and driven at any time. It is the same size as a Suburban and actually fits into a normal garage!!
Good luck bidding.
