with 500 hp* and 500+ tq is one for you! Everywhere you go. people will want to snap a picture or talk to you about it. If the low rumble of the exhaust doesn't get their attention. the graphics that are all under 3 coats of clear paint. wet sanded and buffed to a glass smooth shine will turn some heads. Gazing at it. they may notice the opened shaker with gold honeycomb screen and T/A 7. 6 decal that gives them a hint of what lies beneath. Under the hood. there is a massive hand built

engine. The lower end of it was rebuilt. clearanced for the stroker crank and beefed up. It now includes . 060 over forged Mahle pistons with individually filed and fitted rings. super duty H-beam Eagle rods and Eagle stroker crankshaft. a 7 qt. Moroso oil pan and a new oil pump with extended pick up tube. On top of the block. the higher compression mildly ported 6 X 4 machined heads have all new Ferrea performance 2. 11 intake and 1. 77 exhaust valves. A hydraulic roller Xtreme Energy Comp Cam with . 520/. 540 lift and triple valve springs provide the engine with breathing capabilities up to 6. 00 rpm. An Edelbrock intake manifold and modified dyno tuned 850 cfm Rochester Q Jet carb supply the fuel mixture for the engine. Ceramic headers. 2 ½ inch exhaust pipe. Mac Flowpath mufflers and Pypes stainless tips deliver that free flowing muscle car sound.

To add to the driving excitement. this Super Bandit is equipped with a rebuilt 4 speed

manual transmission that has a Hurst shifter mounted to it. Behind the trans. new U joints in the driveshaft transfer the power to the 3. 42 posi differential gear. All new axils. bearings and seals move the power onto the rear wheels.

For increased driving capabilities. this Super Bandit includes all of the the 1979

WS 6

suspension options which were a close ratio steering box. larger rear sway bar and the 4 wheel disc brakes. Upgrades beyond what the factory offered in their handling package are the drilled and slotted rotors. new heavy duty front coil springs. gas shocks. front poly sway bar bushings and poly body bushings to help in stopping and cornering capabilities. The factory performance wheel look was kept but improved upon with the Year One

17” x 9” snowflakes wrapped in 255 x 50 x 17” tires.

Our goal in the making of the

Super Bandit

line was to put real driving excitement into it while still having an enjoyable riding car. Comforts such as factory AC (updated with Classic Auto Air

compressor. lines and accumulator). power steering/brakes. and a 4 speaker radio with i Pod hookup are included. The

gold dash and steering wheel complement the all new plush PUI deluxe interior.
