This little 1974 Volkswagen "Karmann" Super Beetle Convertible is a real find ! I was out driving this BEAUTY today taking the pictures and I felt like I was driving a nearly brand new Super Beetle !! We just purchased this car from the previous owner who lives in Washington state and as you can clearly see in the pictures this was their pride and joy.   They had the local  Volkswagon mechanic look the car over before they sold it and he gave it a good clean bill of health.  This Beetle is ready to drive anywhere !! This car is not your average old VW Beetle Convertible that is worn out with a new paint job. The previous owner spent right at $17. 00. 00 on this car in the last number of years to have a professional restoration shop completly paint the car and that included taking all the trim. lights. emblems. doors and fenders off the car and doing it right including new black trim between the fenders and body. Also most of the interior was redone with new black vinyl upholstery. new padding on the seats. new door panels. new rubber floor liner. new black convertible top. nbsp;etc.    Also all of the original rubber weatherstripping was removed and replaced with new weatherstripping !! It just goes on and on with the thousands of dollars and many hours of professional work done on this car !! I believe it is a nice value at the price we have it listed at considering all the time and money spent on this BEAUTY ! Cars like this were quite a novelty in their day to say the least but now. in this kind of shape ? What a find! The Bug enthusiast should be pleased to own this BEAUTY. This is a Karmann convertible which they tell me means it was built in Germany and is the one to have. I drove this BEAUTY as my every-day driver too and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you this car runs and drives well. I drove it to the office the other morning with the top down and can see why these cars are so loved by their owners. TOO FUN !! It also does well on the freeway at highway speeds.  If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this car for yourself you won't be disapointed.

It has a - STRONG - SMOOTH - 1600cc Air Cooled Volkswagon four cylinder motor in it that is running VERY WELL indeed.  The previous owner had a VW specialty shop order and install a brand new complete - genuine Volkswagon long block. ceramic coated 4 into 1 exhaust. Bosch blue coil. german spark plug wire kit. new pullies. new fuel pump. new motor mounts. new clutch and two new heater boxes for this car all done at a cost of $3. 00. 00 and less than four thousand miles has been put on the car since.  It also has a smooth four speed manual gearbox which also functions VERY well. Sounds good too with the aftermarket "Bugpack" exhaust sytem. The  Medium Green exterior basecoat / clearcoat paint is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL with really little to no wear showing other than a few small chips and imperfections and is bright. shiny and looks STUNNING  as you can clearly see in the pictures. The high quality Black convertible top is BRAND NEW and in GREAT condition and I noticed when I took the pictures how easy it was for one person to put it up and down. The Black vinyl interior is VERY NICE and looks BEAUTIFUL including VERY NICE Black Vinyl adjustable front bucket seats. nbsp;VERY NICE Black Vinyl rear seat. NICE Black carpeting and Black rubber floor liner. VERY NICE ORIGINAL Karmann  steering wheel. nbsp;VERY NICE matching Black Vinyl door panels. VERY NICE  ORIGINAL gauge clusters. NICE White Vinyl headliner. nbsp;NICE ORIGINAL  matching White Vinyl sunvisors. nbsp;VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black dash with correct wood grain accent and a VERY NICE Black dash cover with NO CRACKS. In my opinion you're not going to find a much nicer INTERIOR on a 39 year old car than the one in this car. UNBELIEVABLE !! This Super  Beetle Convertible is nicely equipped including power wipers. original day / night rear view mirror. original gauge clusters. nbsp;awesome aftermarket Kenwood digital AM FM stereo radio / CD Player with two brand new  Powerbass 6x9 speakers mounted in boxes under the front seats. Dual chrome exterior side view mirrors. factory back up lights. good heater and defroster. factory seat belts. nbsp;nice rubber weatherstripping. nbsp;good glass and factory wing windows.  The CLEAN - SOLID - "front trunk" area is equipped with a full size spare tire. the original jack and lug wrench. and the original black cardboard liner. This is a QUALITY car that drives very well and is nice and tight. It is a really COOL little vehicle.  Check out the VERY NICE custom 15 inch chrome wheels with 'Baby Moons" wrapped in nearly new  steel belted radial tires. boy does this combination look outstanding on this BEAUTY and really retains that clean look !! All of the exterior chrome and stainlees is in VERY NICE condition including the chrome front and rear energy absorbing bumpers and original badging !! I looked underneath and also included photos below. again this is a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Washington state - Idaho high mountain desert - Western car and it shows !! This is a nice Classic collector VW Convertible and it has plenty of good looks to boot !
