1971 Porsche 911 T for sale

This outstanding 1971 Porsche 911 T has been owned and driven by my uncle for the past 18 years.
Overall condition is nearly flawless. both cosmetically and mechanically.
This Porsche can be driven on extended trips without worry.
The present odometer reading is a little less than 71. 00 miles.
Meticulous records indicate actual mileage is 171. 00 miles.
Powertrain: The original 2. 2 L engine was completely rebuilt less than 45. 00 miles ago.
The rebuild included all new cylinders. pistons. bearings. timing chains. valves. valve springs. plus reground camshafts & cam followers.
All valve guides were replaced with later model “turbo” valve guides to make the engine more compatible with unleaded fuels.
The original distributor ignition system has been upgraded to a modern crank-trigger electronic system by Electromotive and Clewett Engineering.
A new clutch was installed concurrently with the engine rebuild.
Body: Two years ago the paint was showing its age.
The front suspension pan and passenger side rocker panel were rusty.
Both the rocker panel and front suspension pan were replaced.
All glass. chrome. rubber body moldings. doors. hood. & engine hatch were removed and the car was professionally repainted by a very reputable shop.
At the same time. a new gas tank and a complete new Dansk stainless steel exhaust system installed.
Today. the bright yellow color and pleasing lines of this vintage 911 are guaranteed to attract attention and favorable comments wherever you travel.
Interior: The interior is in original. unrestored. condition.
It is very good considering 43 years of use but it is not perfect.
Non-Stock Improvements/Modifications:
1. Electromotive crank-trigger ignition is installed.
2. The car is equipped with Weltmeister sway bars front & rear.
3. Original dual battery system has been converted to a single Optima battery.
4. Original front bumper fascia has been replaced with fascia shown in the photos.
Original fascia goes to the winning bidder if desired.
5. Chrome windshield and rear window moldings were not re-installed after re-paint.
Original moldings are in good condition and they go to the winning bidder if desired.
