I bought this car from a nationally know museum with the curators word there was no rust. When the car arrived it was obvious that was not true. I drove and enjoyed the car for a few years. Now the rust issues are at a point they must be taken care of. I love the car and would keep if I could do the work myself. Runs well and mechanically cared for  by a qualified technician

I am working with a race team in the Daytona area on the feasibility to build a 1950s looking formula 1 track car powered by the Biturbo drivetrain. If this works out as doable I may remove the sale.

I would like to sell to someone that can do the paint and body work themselves so as to keep in a toy type budget.

If your plans are to use the engine in a earlier carbureted Biturbo I would like to buy the clock from you for my desk as it does not fit early cars without reworking the dash.

The speedometer was changed under warranty by Maserati and has a tag in the door showing this so the odometer reads 32k. the car has almost 40k miles on it
