1966 Morris Minor Tourer Convertible

You are bidding on a very nice. older restoration of a timeless classic that is fun to drive. inexpensive to maintain and gets great mileage. I purchased the car a couple of years ago when I was living in Kansas City. Missouri. In July. we relocated to Santa Barbara. I now own five cars and one has to be sold the Minor drew the short straw.

The car was restored in the late nineties. at the Morris Minor Centre. in Great Britain. The car was completely redone. including the factory color. redone interior/carpets and is fitted with a dark blue Mohair convertible top. There is a small worn spot on the rear. right side of the roof (see picture) but. it does not leak.

The car starts. runs and drives very well. Everything works. including the heater/blower fan. which is incredibly functional. Not that it makes any difference. but the car draws smiles and lots of attention. wherever you go. I own a 2 CV and a Citroen Truckette. but the Minor is the hands-down attention getter.

Exterior has zero rust and I would say it is a solid A-/B+. The interior is complete. without tears. rips. or other problems. a solid B+.

The engine and transmission do not leak oil and the car burns no oil.

This is a terrific Morris Tourer (my second) and nicer than a Traveler that I owned in KC. I have done routine maintenance and it has been lead-pipe reliable.

I bought the car right. so I can sell it at a “value sale” price.

I will assist with shipping/pick-up. and while it would definitely hold up to an extended drive back to your home. I would advise having it trailered. I have a couple of excellent transport companies that I have used and can recommend.

So. get your spring and summer (and. autumn for that matter) convertible now.
